The Paradigma intellectual property Solutions to which this policy applies are:

· Websites and web applications accessed from one of the following internet domains: paradigmabs.com.br, paradigmawbc.com.br, clicbusiness.com.br.

· Web applications that are accessed through the specific URLs of Paradigma’s clients.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files with little information that are downloaded to your browsing device (such as a computer or smartphone) when you visit a Solution and/or when you access a restricted area and create a browsing session. The cookies can be recognized by the Solution that downloaded them and help it know if the browsing device has visited before, potentially containing user preferences or other information

Cookies set by the Solution’s owner (in this case Paradigma) are called “primary cookies.” Cookies set by a third-party service that is not the Solution’s owner are called “third-party cookies.” Third-party cookies allow features or functionalities from a third-party company properly certified by Paradigma to be used in the Solution to enhance it with functionalities, such as allowing technical telemetry analysis or integrating with BI tools like PowerBI.

How and why do we use cookies in our solutions?

We use primary and third-party cookies for specific reasons and exclusively for the proper functioning of our Solutions.

Some cookies are used for technical reasons to ensure the Solution operates correctly, fulfilling its purpose and/or security objectives, hence they are called “essential” or “strictly necessary.” Other types of cookies may be used for measurements that allow the Solution’s functionalities to evolve and improve.

The cookies that may be in use in one or more Solutions are classified as follows:

· Primary Cookies

o Authentication: These are essential cookies required to identify an authenticated browsing session where the user has logged into a restricted area of a Solution. Without this type of cookie, the Solution cannot identify the user and thus cannot allow access to private content that may have different rules depending on the assigned profile.

o Cybersecurity: These cookies are used to limit certain types of cyber-attacks, known as XSRF/CSRF attacks, and are considered essential cookies.

o User Preferences: These cookies, when present in the Solution, are used to store data related to some user preference, such as the language in which the content will be viewed.

· Third-party Cookies

o Service Usage: This type of cookie may be present in a Solution to help us understand in aggregate how the functionalities are being used. Although they are considered non-essential, they allow us to improve the final usability and how you interact with the Solution. The partners used in this case may include Google Analytics and/or Microsoft Application Insights.

o Performance and Quality: Cookies like these may be present in the Solution to identify performance and functional quality. They are non-essential but allow the Paradigma technical team to identify speed bottlenecks and make technical corrections that improve the final product quality you use. This type of cookie uses Microsoft Application Insights.

o Federated Authentication: Some solutions may use external authentication services, such as a Google account, Microsoft account, ADFS, Azure AD. In these situations, when this type of user authentication is active, it complements the primary authentication cookie described above and is used by these external services to identify user authentication.

How to control and manage browser cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or refuse the use of cookies by changing or configuring your browser according to your decision. If you choose not to accept the use of cookies, some Paradigma Solutions may not function as expected or may cease to function entirely, especially those with restricted and authenticated access areas.

The internet browser you are using to access the Solution allows you to enable, disable, or delete the cookies stored on your device. You can make these changes by consulting the browser’s documentation.
